Fresh identity for Emerald as it celebrates its 50th anniversary

Emerald creates a new group brand to reflect the expansion of its offering and looks to the future with a fresh identity for its global publishing business

Bingley, United Kingdom, 5 January 2017 – In its 50th anniversary year, two important developments to Emerald’s brand family reflect the scholarly publisher’s growth into a group of businesses that connect the worlds of research, education and professional learning. 

The new Emerald Group brand has been created to incorporate all companies in the business, including GoodPractice and Research Media, as well as future acquisitions. This also prominently includes the established global publishing business, which has been renamed Emerald Publishing (formerly Emerald Group Publishing) and will continue to provide access to a growing collection of more than 300 journals, over 2,500 books and more than 1,500 case studies.

Reflecting these developments, Emerald has launched emeraldpublishing.com and emeraldgroup.com to clearly introduce the aims of the business, and enhanced its emeraldinsight.com research platform to improve the user experience for the research community.
